Rates & Insurance
You are responsible for contacting your insurance provider prior to first appointment to discuss mental health plan coverage, deductibles, copay, etc. If counseling services are not covered by your insurance provider you will be responsible for full payment of services rendered. Therapist will utilize the card on file within 30 days after initial bill is sent, unless you specify in writing an alternative form of payment.
Rates:
Initial Assessment & Evaluation: $225.00 per hour
The initial assessment will be a diagnostic evaluation. In this evaluation, Ms. Hence will gather personal information for the purpose of determining issues that need to be addressed and recommendations for how to address them. Goals for treatment will be discussed and agreed upon by both the counselor and the patient(s). This session will be 60 minutes in length.
Individual Session: $100.00 per hour
The frequency and duration of counseling will be determined based upon the patient's individual needs and will be discussed at the initial assessment. Individual sessions will be 60 minutes in length.
Family/Couples Session: $110.00 per hour
The frequency and duration of counseling will be determined based upon the patient's specific needs and will be discussed at the initial assessment. Family and couples sessions will be 60 minutes in length.
Group Session: $55.00 per person per hour
The frequency and duration of counseling will be determined based upon the patient's specific needs and will be discussed at the initial assessment. Group sessions will be 50 minutes in length.
Career Counseling $70.00 per hour
Services to include but not limited to: career, resume writing, job search strategies, interview preparation, workplace troubleshooting, providing community resources. Career Counseling sessions will be 60 minutes in length.
Court Appearance $200 per hour. Minimum 4 hours required per appearance.
Extra Services:
Consultation with other providers or professionals, copy fees and time, at-location observation, coaching, feedback, and records reviews are typically billed at the standard hourly rate of $100 per hour.
Medical Records: $15 per request for first 20 pages. $.50 per page after

Services may be covered in full or in part by your health insurance or employee benefit plan. Please check your coverage carefully by asking the following questions:

Please verify your out-of-network benefits if Hence Counseling is not a participating provider with your insurance network. You may be responsible for meeting your full deductible prior to your insurance benefits activating at a reduced rate. For other insurances, we can provide you with the necessary forms for you to file.
Payment:
Hence Counseling accepts cash, money orders, credit/debit (Visa, Master Card, American Express, Discover) and Health Saving Account cards. Payment is expected in full at time of service.
Cancellation Policy:
Please recognize that insurance carriers do not pay for missed or cancelled appointments. If you do not show up for your scheduled therapy appointment, and you have not notified us at least 24 hours in advance, you will be required to pay the entire fee of services as booked.
